The Altra FWD VIA 2 is a high-cushion neutral road running and walking shoe designed for smooth, comfortable kilometres.

An Altra EGO™ P35 midsole delivers a softer and more responsive ride than the original FWD VIA, while the 4mm drop and rocker-shaped geometry help create a smooth transition and efficient toe-off. Altra states the new foam is 19% softer and 15% more responsive than the original FWD VIA midsole. 

The FWD VIA 2 also uses Altra's Original FootShape™ fit — its roomiest FootShape profile — providing generous room through the toe box and additional space through the midfoot.
