DNA TUNED cushioning

The Glycerin Max 2 uses Brooks’ DNA TUNED nitrogen-infused foam, but the important part is how Brooks tunes the foam throughout the shoe.

Larger cells through the heel are designed to create softer, airier landings, while smaller cells through the forefoot create a firmer and more energetic response as you move towards toe-off.

Brooks achieves this within the tuned cushioning itself rather than adding separate layers of different foams. 

GlideRoll™ Rocker

With this much cushioning underfoot, geometry becomes particularly important.

Brooks’ GlideRoll™ Rocker combines a sculpted heel bevel with toe-spring geometry to help move the foot smoothly from heel to toe, reducing the feeling of having to work through such a substantial platform.
