The Brooks Ghost Max 4 is a high-cushion neutral shoe built to reduce pressure underfoot. Brooks designed it for runners and walkers dealing with forefoot overload, big-toe joint pain or some heel and Achilles pain, and it has room for orthotics. This is the men’s Wide (2E) version in all-black Black / Black / Ebony.

Fit & sizing
Wide feet often get pushed into a size up to find room. Try the 2E in your usual length first. If you wear orthotics, bring them in and we’ll fit the shoe with them in place.

What does 2E mean?
2E is Brooks’ men’s wide width. Standard men’s width is D, and extra wide is 4E.
Ghost Max 4 or Ghost 18?
The Ghost Max has more cushioning, a lower 6 mm drop and a rocker. The Ghost 18 is lighter and more flexible with a 10 mm drop.
Is it good for walking?
Yes. Brooks designed it for both runners and walkers.
Can I wear orthotics in it?
Yes. Brooks describes the fit as roomy and orthotic-friendly.
Care instructions
Brush off dirt and wipe with a damp cloth. Air-dry away from direct heat. Don’t put them in the washing machine or dryer.
