4mm drop + rocker geometry

The Experience Flow 3 has a 4mm heel-to-toe drop, with 32mm of stack under the heel and 28mm under the forefoot.

This low-drop platform is combined with rocker-shaped geometry, creating a curved midsole profile designed to encourage efficient toe-off and natural forward propulsion.

It's an important distinction within the Altra range: the Experience Flow 3 is not a zero-drop shoe.

For runners accustomed to more traditional elevated-heel running shoes, its 4mm platform can also provide an approachable entry into Altra's lower-drop footwear.

Standard FootShape™ fit

The Experience Flow 3 uses Altra's Standard FootShape™ fit.

This provides room through the forefoot and toe box so the toes can move more naturally, while maintaining secure lockdown through the midfoot.
