The Brooks Glycerin GTS 23 Women’s Wide – White/Harbor Mist/Metallic combines Brooks’ premium plush cushioning with its GuideRails™ support system, creating a comfortable and supportive everyday road shoe for runners and walkers who want additional guidance underfoot.

The Glycerin GTS 23 uses nitrogen-infused DNA TUNED cushioning, with Brooks adding an extra 2mm of cushioning through the forefoot for this generation. The result is designed to provide soft landings with a more responsive feeling through toe-off. 

This version is the dedicated Women’s Wide (D width), giving additional room compared with Brooks’ standard women’s B width. Brooks officially offers the Glycerin GTS 23 in Medium, Wide and Extra Wide widths.

DNA TUNED cushioning

The Glycerin GTS 23 uses Brooks’ premium DNA TUNED cushioning.

This nitrogen-infused cushioning is tuned to create a combination of soft landings and responsive toe-offs rather than simply making the entire midsole uniformly soft.

For the Glycerin 23 generation, Brooks added 2mm more DNA TUNED cushioning through the forefoot, increasing the amount of cushioning underfoot. 

GuideRails™ structured support

The GTS is what separates this shoe from the neutral Glycerin 23.

Brooks’ GuideRails™ Technology System is designed to support the body along its natural motion path while helping keep excess movement in check. Brooks classifies the Glycerin GTS 23 as offering structured support. 

This makes it particularly useful when someone wants the plush feel of the Glycerin but benefits from additional guidance and stability.

Accommodating engineered knit upper

Brooks has updated the Glycerin GTS 23 with a streamlined engineered knit upper, designed for softness, breathability and an accommodating fit.

That combination is especially useful in your Wide D version, where we're looking for extra space without sacrificing heel and midfoot security.

True Stryde Fit Tip: The Glycerin GTS 23 is a great option when you want plenty of cushioning but don't want that cushioning to feel uncontrolled. The GuideRails™ add guidance around the foot's movement, while the D width gives more room than Brooks’ standard women's B fit. It's also now an 8mm drop, making it slightly lower than the previous Glycerin GTS generation.
