Underfoot, a high stack of nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning provides soft, protective comfort, while Brooks’ GlideRoll Rocker geometry helps the foot move smoothly from landing through to toe-off. 

This version comes in a genuine Men’s Wide 2E fit, giving additional room compared with the standard men's D width. The all-black leather construction also makes it particularly useful for workplaces requiring an all-black shoe.

The Ghost Max 2 Leather uses a high stack of Brooks’ nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 foam.

Rather than creating an aggressively soft shoe, the substantial cushioning is designed to provide comfortable landings and help reduce pressure underfoot during extended periods of walking or standing. 

GlideRoll Rocker

Brooks’ GlideRoll Rocker geometry actively promotes a smooth rolling transition from heel to toe.

That's particularly useful in a walking or work shoe, where the combination of a substantial midsole and rocker geometry can help the shoe move forward smoothly rather than requiring excessive flexibility through the forefoot.
