Underfoot, the Ghost 18 uses nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning, tuned to provide soft landings while maintaining a responsive feeling through toe-off. Brooks positions the Ghost 18 for road running, daily runs and walking, with balanced support rather than the structured GuideRails™ system found in its GTS models. 

The Coconut/Coffee/Fuchsia colourway is official Brooks colour 107, giving this everyday workhorse a much softer lifestyle-inspired look.

DNA LOFT v3 cushioning

The Ghost 18 features Brooks’ nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning.

Brooks tunes the foam to create a balance between soft landings and responsive toe-offs, giving the Ghost the dependable everyday feel that makes it such a versatile daily trainer. 

It's not designed as Brooks’ softest or most maximal shoe. Instead, it sits in that useful middle ground for someone wanting enough cushioning for regular kilometres without an excessively soft or bulky platform.

Balanced support

Unlike the Glycerin GTS 23 above, the Ghost 18 does not use GuideRails™.

Brooks classifies it as offering balanced support, using a secure heel and dynamic forefoot to provide inherent stability while maintaining its neutral everyday character. 

Updated upper and tongue

Brooks has refined the upper for the Ghost 18 with a two-colour air mesh construction for breathability.

There's also a new flat-knit tongue with a pillowy design intended to improve comfort across the top of the foot, along with an updated sockliner. 

RoadTack rubber outsole

A RoadTack rubber outsole provides traction for everyday road kilometres, while reflective detailing through the heel adds some visibility in lower-light conditions.
