It combines Altra’s EGO™ P35 midsole foam with a low 4mm heel-to-toe drop and rocker-shaped geometry to create a smooth, efficient ride that helps you move naturally through each stride.

Cushioning & ride

The Experience Flow 3 uses Altra EGO™ P35, a lightweight midsole foam designed to create a smooth, comfortable and efficient underfoot feel.

With 32mm under the heel and 28mm under the forefoot, it provides moderate cushioning without feeling overly bulky.

The result is a balanced everyday ride suited to regular mileage and walking.

4mm drop + rocker geometry

Unlike many traditional Altra models that use zero drop, the Experience Flow 3 has a 4mm heel-to-toe offset.

The lower drop works with the shoe’s rocker-shaped geometry to encourage an efficient transition through toe-off while maintaining a more natural foot position.

This also makes the Experience Flow a useful option for runners interested in Altra’s natural-foot positioning but who may not want to move straight into a zero-drop shoe.

FootShape™ fit

The Experience Flow 3 uses Altra’s Standard FootShape™ Fit.

This provides:

• Room for the toes to spread and move naturally
• A secure fit through the midfoot
• More anatomical shaping than a traditional tapered running shoe

It is important to note that FootShape™ does not automatically mean the shoe is a wide-width model. The Standard FootShape™ fit provides additional toe room while maintaining midfoot security.

An updated engineered mesh upper improves airflow and helps keep the shoe lightweight and breathable.

Altra has also redesigned the heel collar for improved comfort and a more secure feel around the rearfoot.
