The Altra FWD VIA 2 Men's – White/Silver/Black is a high-cushion neutral road running shoe built for smooth, comfortable daily kilometres and long runs.

The updated Altra EGO™ P35 midsole is designed to deliver a light and efficient ride, while a 4mm heel-to-toe drop and rocker-shaped geometry help create smooth forward transitions and an efficient toe-off. 

The FWD VIA 2 also uses Altra's Original FootShape™ fit, the roomiest of its FootShape profiles, providing plenty of toe room and additional space through the midfoot.

High-cushion Altra EGO™ P35

The FWD VIA 2 introduces Altra EGO™ P35 foam, designed to create a softer, more responsive ride while retaining enough efficiency for everyday training.

Altra states the updated midsole is 19% softer and 15% more responsive than the original FWD VIA midsole. 

4mm drop + rocker geometry

Unlike Altra's traditional zero-drop models, the FWD VIA 2 uses a 4mm heel-to-toe drop.

Its curved rocker geometry works with that low-drop platform to encourage a smoother forward transition and more efficient toe-off. 

Original FootShape™ fit

The FWD VIA 2 uses Altra's Original FootShape™, its roomiest FootShape profile.

That means generous room for toe movement plus more space through the midfoot than Altra's Standard profile.
