Cushioning & ride

The Olympus 275 HiLo uses Altra EGO™ MAX cushioning for a plush, protective trail ride.

According to Altra, the updated foam is 15% lighter and 10% softer than the previous version, helping provide long-haul comfort without making the shoe feel excessively heavy underfoot.

With a 33mm heel and 33mm forefoot stack, the platform provides high cushioning while maintaining Altra’s signature zero-drop geometry.

Trail grip

Underfoot, a Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™ provides durable grip and adaptable traction across technical terrain.

The outsole is designed to maintain traction on both wet and dry surfaces, making the Olympus 275 HiLo well suited to changing trail conditions, rocky terrain and longer off-road adventures.

Fit & FootShape™

The Olympus 275 HiLo uses Altra’s Original FootShape™ Fit.

This is Altra’s roomiest FootShape™ option, providing:

The 0mm heel-to-toe drop places the heel and forefoot at the same height from the ground.

This creates the natural, balanced platform Altra is known for, while the high stack and wide trail platform help provide a stable foundation on uneven terrain.

Runners transitioning from higher-drop footwear may benefit from gradually adapting to a zero-drop shoe.

Durable MATRYX® upper
